wunderLOOP: Open, Source, Geeks??

January 31st, 2007 SkyHorse

wunderLOOP
Wired

…a backend ad engine that can pinpoint viewers by location, time of day, viewing habits, and opt-in profile information to serve up a perfect ad. Developed by open source geeks in privacy-centric Europe, the central database doesn’t store any identifying data….

Open Source Geeks? Hilarious! Unless you’re an industry insider you would be forgiven if you didn’t know the “Geeks” they are referring to is the web 2.0 company “wunderLOOP“, who claim to be the future of online advertising.

We’ll see.

wunderLOOP: The start of a new wave of online advertising

January 26th, 2007 SkyHorse

wunderLOOP
Panama, Yahoo’s new advertising platform, and its super abilities, is not the only online advertising technology that is going to be making waves in 2007.
wunderLOOP, a Luxembourg-based behavioral advertising and content targeting company, is about to announce a big round of funding that would allow the company to expand and take on its bigger rivals.

Web 2.0 or Star Wars Character?

August 31st, 2006 SkyHorse

Web 2.0 this, Web 2.0 that, what is the world comming to! A few geeks rediscover the power of the XMLRPC and all of the sudden we have a “new” World Wide Web. Amazing. Garbage should have patented the formula years ago.

Find out how far this craze has affected you with the sarcastic “Web 2.0 or Star Wars Character?” quiz, where you have to pick which of the two a particular “keyword”, such as lulu or jarjar, belongs to. If you score more than 40 I recommend you to take an extended holiday.
