Only in London…

March 20th, 2006 SkyHorse

We all hear about sugar daddys. And mommies for that matter. But if you were looking for a flat and fancied some kinky sex, or even better if you were looking for some kinky sex and fancied a flat, here’s the deal for you.

This is a true posting, on the gumtree website. If the lady keeps her promise, well, that’s another matter, but this trully shows what happens when anonymous internet reaches critical mass:

ROOM IS AVAILABLE 1 APR

Yes, you get your own room, free rent, in return for semi-sexual favours. Basically I’m a busy career woman, who knows what I want and always get it.

Here’s the deal. I am a busy woman, and will need you to give me your undivided attention for 2 nights a week for a maximum of 2 hours! That’s it! You will need to lie shirtless in just your boxer shorts on my bed and hand cuffed with your arms above your head. There will be no intercourse, I will simply just simply play with you, caress you, run my fingers along your body, rest my head on your chest, talk to you, etc. That’s it

I am after cute guys aged between 18-30, with nice bonds. Must be friendly and outgoing. Extra points if you’re an Aussie/Kiwi – as I can’t get enough of you lot! But if you’re not aussie/kiwi, and you are cute and have a great bod, then by all means, email me!

You will need to be good looking with a luvable cute face, with an attractive muscular body. You need to be a gym goer (that’s a clue that you have a great bod). Not too much muscle like a body builder (yuck), but no skinny blokes either. You need to be fun and like to socialise. You’re also adventurous and open to new things. So if you’re an ugly antisocial, please do not apply.

To apply you will need to send me
1. A decent sized shirtless pic of you
2. Pic of you with your arms above your head
3. Close up pic of your armpits
4. And a pic with your clothes on.

Yes, i do have an extreme armpit fetish.

In return, you will get free rent in your own double bed room in my flat which is just off Long Acre, the centre of London (where you will find eveything you could possibly need), and is a double story house which has recently just been renovated into the modern state that it is today.

It is split between two levels, fully furnished with double beds, wardrobe and desk in each room. Massive living room complete with flat screen TV/DVD player/stereo system, computer with internet, designer sofas/coffee table with a balcony overlooking the city. The kitchen is equipped with double door fridge (with water dispenser), stove, oven, range hood, and all other kitchen appliances. The dining table can sit 6 people (six chairs). We have a separate laundry room complete with washing machine and dryer.

We have cleaners that clean the house 2 times a week. There is no committment and you are free to leave anytime. Once you are in, you are guaranteed to stay for at least 4 months even if we don’t get along (i will sign a contract to this) After that, we will re asses.

Have a look for yourself at http://www.gumtree.com/london/76/4224776.html

Maybe I should apply? ;)

Three Dimensional Images in the Air

February 27th, 2006 SkyHorse
3D Display

“By creating plasma in open air with lasers, Japanese scientists are working on a true 3D display. The Japanese National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) announced an exciting breakthrough in optoelectronics — a working three dimensional display. The display does not rely on any sort of optical illusion or disorientation. Instead, infrared lasers are aligned to converge and create small amounts of plasma. The plasma acts as a floating “dot” on top of the laser grid.

interactive architecture

The infrared laser pulses across several reflectors so that 100 dots can be created per second. The initial reports from AIST are a little light on details, but it appears as though the plasma dots can be drawn up to several meters away from the laser source. It also appears as though the device needs a vapor source with specific electron/ion content in order to generate the dots.”

This opens a whole new market for… hum… you know… ;)

A iPod for your CD’s

January 7th, 2006 SkyHorse
Trade CD's for iPods

Threatened by the digital revolution, everyone in the music industry is coming up with different ways to survive and make a buck out of it.
Some follow that American hobby and file suit, others give iPods away in exchange for your old CD’s. Yes, that’s right, Millennium Independent Music Store is giving away brand new iPods, of different models depending on the number (and quality) of the CD’s you send them for exchange.
Those CD’s will then début on their on-line used CD store selling from $4 to $6. That’s 40% less per album than iTunes, for example.
And more, they say this is not a promotion, so someone has a carefully drawn out business plan with profit in mind. It also means this business model will probably be copied around the world.
It is a breath of fresh air to see some old-age companies adapting to the 21st century without having to sue everyone around them. Hip hip hurray!

xMax sparks low power wireless revolution

November 4th, 2005 SkyHorse

I’m still in awe after reading the latest news about xMax, the technology that I predict will be even more famous than Wi-Fi is today.

Technical aspects aside, the consequences of this little innovation goes way beyond the mere wireless transmission of data. The possibilities are really endless. I can easily imagine loads of xMax “dots” scattered around the world powered by nothing more than a tiny battery (or even solar power), forming the world’s largest ISP.

It can also be used to unleash the true power of personal networking. Everyone, every home, every dog, connected through a mesh of wireless access points, possible only due to the super-low power consumption (it is predicted that at 2Mbits a wireless xMax can run for years on a watches battery!).
Your watch will have one, so will your computer mouse, your TV, fridge, headphones, iPod, PDA, wallet, heck even your gramma!

A true revolution is on its way, and with commercial products ready as soon as next year, there’s nothing to stop it! (expect the FCC and other regulators)
